Wilson, Toellner and Associates, L.L.C. was formed in 1988 by Alan Wilson and Ron Toellner. Ron and Alan envisioned a CPA firm that would be responsive to the needs of clients and the community.

The firm started in Sedalia with a staff of three – the two partners and an office manager/secretary. In a relatively short period of time the practice grew enough to necessitate adding several more staff members. A move was made in June 1992 to a larger office.

During the same summer the firm acquired an existing CPA practice which had offices in both Sedalia and Marshall. Several new staff members were added.

In September 1993 another Sedalia CPA practice was acquired along with the building that is now the firm’s home office at 2700 Matthew Drive. Plans were made to almost double the capacity of the acquired building, and a grand opening was held in November 1994.

Then in January of 2008, the firm acquired 2 more existing CPA practices: one in Sedalia and one in Sunrise Beach Missouri.

The firm currently consists of three offices: Sedalia, Marshall, and Lake Ozark. The firm has a staff of 23, including the two partners, 9 CPAs, 7 staff accountants and para-professionals, several administrative, two office managers, and a network administrator.

Since August of 1997, the firm has had an affiliation with Boomer Consulting, Inc.. They help accounting firms master the integration of technology with their strategic objectives. They created a process called The Technology Leadership Process™. They call it that because it will help you master technology in order to become a leader in your industry. It has proven successful in hundreds of firms throughout the world. We believe in the value of relationships.
